Episode 32: Journalistic Integrity (00:59:59)
This week we unfortunately were unable to do our planned show– but we’ll do that next week! So instead we try to maintain journalistic integrity (without any advertising at all much to our sadness) and do a review of some of our favorite web applications. We’re hoping that you’ve never heard of most of these, and are willing to give them a try out to see what you think.
I probably don’t have to go through the whole list- they’re down below in the links section. Also you’ll hear them on the show, so a brief description seems sort of like a spoiler. However, I do want to ask that if you have a favorite web app (or a web app that you’re working on) give us a comment below and we’ll check it out– maybe even feature it on the next show!
Couple of important take aways from the show this week:
- Backup your files in the cloud and redundantly.
- Powerpoint is lame
- Curation is the key to the Internet
- Get badges.

I don’t use web apps. The only thing I used was Google Docs to coordinate wedding guests/addresses. Does that count?

Yes- that absolutely counts! We didn’t really go over it because we wanted to talk about ones that perhaps folks hadn’t heard of. Let us know if you try any of the ones we mentioned in the show!
