Episode 38: Will Live (00:18:38)
Ooops! We had planned on doing a full show this week, but we couldn’t get it scheduled right! So I’m sorry to say that you’re stuck with Will talking about a few news points. Hopefully we’ll be back to normal for next week’s show!
Today’s episode covers LulzSec breaking into the hacking scene and joining up with Anonymous. Who’s LulzSec? Well, you’ll have to listen to find out! Next up we have a recap of what’s been happening in the nuclear power world since Fukushima Daiichi. Finally, to get you back to your normal like and away from Will as quickly as possible, there’s a quick review of Apple’s newest edition of their popular Final Cut video editing program.

I want to vote for “have Will OR Ben do a short one”, but that is not a choice.
Looking forward to seeing you soon, Will!

I tripped over an episode of Nova that someone left lying around Netflix recently. One of the topics covered some sweet electric cars that had an auto-pilot feature and communicated with other like-vehicles. This allows for detection of traffic and cross-traffic. This started the gears turning in my head and I couldn’t help but wonder what a prototype city would be like so we could at least start having one city pumped full of the modern/future technology. Other lesser tech transportation (i.e. gas vehicles or vehicles that could not communicate with the others would not be allowed on the city’s roads). This could possibly lead to a decent show topic. “What would a prototype city possibly look like, what type of technology would possibly be used, who would be allowed to reside in this city, should the city also be open to outsiders/tourists?”
